Washington DC is quickly becoming one of my favorite cities for a weekend getaway. It’s an easy trip from NYC, there’s always something new to explore, and it’s actually a pretty good city for budget travelers. I took a weekend trip to DC earlier this year for the Cherry Blossom 5k and I was reminded again just how much I love this city.
