The 12 Best Desserts in Seattle, Washington
I am a sucker for cupcakes, doughnuts, and ice cream. When I am exploring a city, I always check out the local dessert offerings. After living in Seattle for a few months, I had checked out most of the sweet shops in the city (I mean let’s be real, I checked out most of them in just a few weeks. Oops!). Below are my favorite places to grab something sweet in Seattle. If you share my love of desserts be sure to check out some of these places the next time you visit the Emerald City! Self-Guided Fremont Seattle Walking Tour
Welcome to the center of the universe! Scientists coined this nickname for the North Seattle neighborhood in the early 90s. They determined that Fremont was as good a place as any to receive this acclaim and the city council made this official in 1994. In this eccentric neighborhood, you can find a troll, a chocolate factory, dinosaurs, and even a controversial statue. Pick one major item (such as a trip to Wrigley Field or The Willis Tower Skydeck). Fill the rest of your time with smaller sights (The Bean or Tribune Tower). Ok, if you are ready, let’s talk Chicago! Below is my ultimate itinerary for 1 day…

One Day in Bryce Canyon National Park
In 2016 I had the incredible opportunity to take a road trip from Tennessee to California. Along this drive I decided to stop at as many National Parks as I could. I visited Petrified Forest, Grand Canyon, Zion, and Bryce all during this 6-day drive. I fully expected Zion to be my favorite park of the trip and I knew Grand Canyon would be amazing. However, I never expected to fall in love with Bryce Canyon the way that I did. Being in this park felt like I had stepped into another world. The views were breathtaking and hiking in this environment a completely new experience for me. If you…
